SER CD Assists with Eagle Scout Project

SER CD is providing assistance for a windbreak planting located at the newly built track and football field adjacent to Saratoga High School.  Sam Streeter who will be a senior at Saratoga High School approached the district with his plans for the

planting.  Sam worked with Resource Specialist, Glen Leavengood, on the design.

SER CD has provided the up front funding to get the project off the ground.  Over 350 trees and shrubs have been planted.  A drip system has also been installed.  CCSD#2 will also provide funding on a cost-share basis with SER CD.

The planting was completed over a three day period by SER CD staff, local boy scouts, CCSD#2 staff,  and Sam’s parents, Jeff and Sandy Streeter.
