ARBOR DAY CELEBRATIONS

Town of Saratoga—SER CD provided trees and shrubs for the town’s celebration. Education Coordinator Jean Runner also taught Saratoga Elementary School students about trees and how important they are to our community.  Over 140 students rotated between various tree related activities during the event.  This is the 6th year SER CD has provided trees and shrubs for Arbor Day.

 

Rawlins—Dan Mika, SER CD Board Vice Chairman and Resource Specialist Glen Leavengood provided assistance to the City of Rawlins at its Arbor Day celebration.  Free seedlings courtesy of SER CD were given away.
